Brad Sendell hit a milestone in one game, led Lawrence to victory in the other to close out the regular season and was named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week. In Lawrence's game with league champion St. Norbert, Sendell scored a game-high 22 points and hit 1,000 points for his career. A junior from Pacific Grove, Calif., Sendell became the first player in Lawrence history to score 1,000 in his first two seasons with the team. In a 79-76 win over Illinois College, Sendell scored 30 points, his fourth 30-point game of the season as he went 11-for-15 from the floor, including 6-of-8 from 3-point range. In the two games, Sendell shot 54.8 percent from the floor, including 56.3 percent from beyond the arc.
