Brian Tallieu picked up the first two wins of his collegiate career as Lawrence swept a weekend road series at St. Scholastica. In the two games, Tallieu posted a 1.50 goals against average and .961 save percentage, and was then chosen as the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week. In a 3-2 win on Friday, the first-year goaltender from Davison, Mich., made 36 saves and held off the Saints, who had an extra attacker on the ice for the final 2:03. In a 3-1 victory on Saturday, Tallieu stopped 38 shots, and with the Vikings holding a one-goal lead, again staved off St. Scholastica as they had an extra attacker on the ice for 2:19 and were on the power play at the same time.
