Joe Kortenhof turned in his best finish of his career by taking second at the Gene Davis Invitational and was named the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week for the first time in his career. A sophomore from Portland, Ore., Kortenhof covered the 8,000-meter course at Reid Golf Course in 26:22. Kortenhof's time is the eighth-fastest time in the Midwest Conference this season. The runner-up finish topped Kortenhof's previous career best, which was fifth place at the Ken Weidt Classic at Concordia Wisconsin in 2016. Kortenhof helped Lawrence to a third-place finish in the team standings.
