APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University distance stars Josh Janusiak and Joe Kortenhof will take another shot at qualifying for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships as they head to the Wartburg Qualifier on Saturday. Both runners are within shouting distance of a spot in the national meet.

Fast Fact: Lawrence's Josh Janusiak and Joe Kortenhof are going to make one last run at qualifying for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in the 5,000 meters as they head to Wartburg on Saturday. Janusiak has the 22nd-fastest time in the nation right now and Kortenhof ranks 26th. The top 15 runners qualify for the NCAA Championships. Another contingent of Lawrence athletes will travel to UW-Stevens Point on Saturday.

Series Record: Lawrence won the only meeting between the teams when the Vikings posted a 7-4 victory in 2017.

Series Record: Lawrence won the only meeting between the team when the Vikings picked up a 2-1 win back in 1989.

Series Record: This is the first meeting between the teams.

Fast Fact: Lawrence had an offensive explosion on the opening weekend as the Vikings hit .425 and scored 39 runs in three games against Iowa Wesleyan. Senior Matt Holliday broke Lawrence's career doubles record as he picked up three on the weekend. Holliday now has 36 to top the mark of 35 set by Andrew Wong from 2003-06. Zach Rabideau hit .667 on the opening weekend as he went 10-for-15 with three doubles, a triple and six runs batted in.

MEN'S TENNIS (3-2)

Series Record: Lawrence holds a 3-0 lead over Wisconsin Lutheran in a series that started in 2014.

Fast Fact: Lawrence split its two matches last week with a win over Dubuque and a loss at UW-Eau Claire. Sophomore Cade Francour had an impressive outing against Dubuque as he won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 singles and teamed with Aidan Delgado for an 8-3 victory at No. 2 doubles.
