The Week Ahead: October 8-14

APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence cross country teams get a glimpse of the NCAA Division III Championships when the Vikings head to Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wis., to run at the Kollege Town Invitational on Saturday. This is the pre-national meet with a host of great teams running on the course that will host the national championships on Nov. 17.

Series Record: Lawrence is 11-12 against the Bucs since the 1999 season, and the Vikings have won the last six meetings.

Fast Fact: Lawrence standout Arianna Neumeyer passed 1,000 kills this past weekend. She now has 1,029 kills and 1,283 digs for her career and is just the third player in Lawrence history to hit a grand in both categories.

Fast Fact: Lawrence's Josh Janusiak ran his personal win streak to three with a victory at the Gene Davis Invitational this past Saturday. Janusiak also has wins at the Tom Barry Invitational and the Lake Forest Invitational this season. Janusiak broke his own meet record with a time of 25:03.44 and broke the course record of 25:40. Joe Kortenhof also had an outstanding race as he took third at the Gene Davis.

Fast Fact: Lawrence wraps up its fall season by playing host to the Midwest Conference Championships in Madison. El Goblirsch and Morgan Fisher have had the best showings for the Vikings this fall. They have teamed up for a 6-5 record at No. 3 doubles, and are both 5-8 in singles.
