APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University cross country star Josh Janusiak caps his season on Saturday with a trip to the NCAA Division III Championships right in his own backyard. Men's and women's basketball have their home openers this week, as the ladies host Lakeland University and the men host MSOE.

MEN'S BASKETBALL (1-1)

When and Where: Thursday, Nov. 15, 7 p.m., Woltzen Gymnasium, Plymouth, Wis.

Series Record: Lawrence has a 27-11 edge over Lakeland in a series that started back in 1935. Lawrence has won the last three meetings, but the teams haven't played since the 2012-13 season.

Fast Fact: Lawrence cross country star Josh Janusiak earned a berth in the NCAA Division III Championships for the second consecutive year with a 12th-place finish at the Midwest Regional Championships on a frigid morning at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, Wis. Janusiak finished 48th at the 2017 NCAA Championships and was just four seconds shy of claiming All-America status.
