APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence hosts its lone cross country meet of the season when the Gene Davis Invitational is contested on Saturday at Reid Golf Course. The event is named for long-time cross country, swimming and track coach and Lawrence Hall of Famer Gene Davis.

Fast Fact: Lawrence rookie forward Jackie Blake was named the Midwest Conference Offensive Player of the Week after a natural hat trick in a 6-1 victory over Mount Mary. It was the second time this season a Lawrence player has won the league's weekly Offensive Player of the Week award. Samantha Tolu took the honor in September.
