APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University basketball teams return to Alexander Gymnasium this week for a pair of Midwest Conference doubleheaders. Lawrence hosts Cornell College on Friday before welcoming Monmouth College on Saturday afternoon. Lawrence hockey also is at home on Saturday as the Vikings take on MSOE in a weekend series.

Series Record: Lawrence trails Cornell 64-32 in a series that started in 1924. Since Cornell rejoined the Midwest Conference in 2012, the teams are 6-6 against one another.

Fast Fact: Lawrence looks to bounce back after enduring its worst shooting game, by far, of the season at Beloit. The Vikings shot just 31.4 percent from the floor, including 23.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Fast Fact: Rookie guard Ashley Batac picked up her third double-digit scoring game of the season as she led Vikings in scoring at Beloit. Batac has pushed her scoring average to 5.4 points per game off the bench and is tied for the team lead with 18 3-pointers this season.
