MEQUON, Wis. -- Seth Cox allowed four hits over seven innings Thursday to lead the Concordia University Wisconsin baseball team to a 9-0 nonconference win over Lawrence University at Kapco Park.
Cox struck out four and walked one, and Eric Dubek pitched the final two innings to complete the shutout for the Falcons (26-9).
Concordia broke a scoreless tie with six runs in the second inning against reliever Tony Caputa. The Falcons added three more runs in the sixth to complete the scoring.
Four players had two hits apiece for Concordia, and two of them, Dan Ranieri and Bryan Thomas, both drove in two runs.
Matt Holliday went 2-for-4 to pace the Vikings (5-25-1).
