DE PERE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University football team couldn't get its offense going Saturday in a 41-0 Midwest Conference North Division loss to St. Norbert College at Schneider Stadium.
Lawrence was limited to just 67 total yards, and the Green Knights piled up 521 yards on offense.
St. Norbert led 7-0 after the first quarter, but the Green Knights pulled away with a pair of touchdowns and two field goals in the second quarter to build a 27-0 lead at the half.
Safety Jaxon Stratton paced the Lawrence defense and all tacklers with 13 stops, including 10 solo tackles. Steven Snyder added seven tackles for the Vikings, and Zachary Adams and Eder Bellegarde had six tackles apiece. Adams also had a team-best two sacks.
Reserve quarterback Tim Owen led the Lawrence offense by going 5-for-10 passing for 44 yards and picked up a team-best 27 rushing yards.
Samuel Staehling led St. Norbert with seven catches for 215 yards and two touchdowns.
