DE PERE, Wis. -- Lawrence University allowed five third-period goals Saturday as the Vikings dropped a 6-0 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association decision to No. 14 St. Norbert College at the Cornerstone Community Center.
The Green Knights were clinging to a 1-0 lead heading to the final period before a goal early in the period gave them some breathing room. St. Norbert (14-9-2, 11-7-2 NCHA) scored twice midway through the period to pull away and added a pair of late power-play goals.
Ben Schmidling scored twice for St. Norbert and Colby Entz made 17 saves to record the shutout. Brian Tallieu stopped 44 shots for the Vikings (6-17-2, 5-13-2).
