GALESBURG, Ill. -- Knox College's Lucas Sanchez picked up a hat trick as the Prairie Fire scored the game's final six goals Saturday in a 7-1 Midwest Conference victory over the Lawrence University men's soccer team.

Knox (6-2-2, 1-0-0 MWC) broke an early 1-1 tie and stretched the lead to 4-1 at the half. The Prairie Fire added three more second-half goals for the final margin.

Lawrence (1-6-0, 0-1-0) tied the match early on Nicholas Jatta's goal. Jatta beat goalkeeper Justin Dunn to a ball played back to him by one of the Knox defenders. Jatta poked the ball free and deposited it into the back of the empty net to tie the match just 55 seconds in.

Dunn finished with four saves to pick up the win, and Julien Riviere stopped nine shots for the Vikings.
