Prange scores four as Green Knights top Lawrence

St. Norbert topped Lawrence 7-0 in the Midwest Conference opener.

APPLETON, Wis. -- Ben Prange scored four goals and picked up two assists to lead the St. Norbert College men's soccer team to a 7-0 Midwest Conference win over Lawrence University on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.

St. Norbert (7-0-1, 1-0-0 MWC) scored five times in the first 36 minutes to take command. Prange scored the first goal of the game at the 10:59 mark, and St. Norbert led 2-0 21 minutes into the match.

Prange then scored three consecutive goals in a stretch of nine minutes to stake the Green Knights to a 5-0 lead at the half.

The Green Knights added two more goals in the first eight minutes of the second half to complete the scoring.

Hunter Lanton made 22 saves for the Vikings (2-6-0, 0-1-0), and Josh Koleske made one save for the shutout.
