Vikings fall to Whitewater

Lawrence lost a 7-0 decision to UW-Whitewater.

APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team fell 7-0 to UW-Whitewater in a nonconference game on Monday night on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.

Whitewater remained unbeaten on the season at 4-0-0 and the Vikings fell to 1-3-0.

Whitewater built a 3-0 lead at the half and got a hat trick from Jackson Ranck in the second half to pull away.

Hunter Lanton made six saves in net for the Vikings, and two Whitewater goalkeepers combined for four saves to record the shutout.
