DE PERE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University swim teams split a dual meet on Saturday against St. Norbert College at the Mulva Center.
The Lawrence women rolled to a 174-52 victory, and the Lawrence men were edged by the Green Knights 135-92.
Erin Lengel won a pair of events for the Vikings as she took first in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:03.48 and first in the 100 backstroke in 1:03.31.
Other winners for the Vikings were Andrea Ritziu in the 1,000 freestyle in 12:18.22, Mandy Marsh in the 50 freestyle in 26.72 seconds and Elise Riggle in the 200 individual medley in 2:25.48.
Lawrence also claimed wins by Maddy Smith in the 1-meter diving with a score of 222.25, Lizzy Garcia in the 100 butterfly in 1:05.45 and Caitlyn Lansing in the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.55. Lawrence also picked up wins by Bridget Duero in the 100 freestyle in 58.21 and Mae Grahs in the 500 freestyle in 5:38.46.
Lawrence's 200 medley relay team won in 1:56.38, and the 400 freestyle relay was a winner in 3:53.81.
On the men's side, Anton Hutchinson won a pair of events. Hutchinson swam to victory in the 200 freestyle in 1:50.74 and in the 500 freestyle in 5:00.64.
Lawrence's Jordan Spalding won the 1,000 freestyle in 11:22.91, and Tom Goldberg took the top spot in the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.14.
Lawrence also grabbed first in the 200 medley relay in 1:44.53.
