APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's swimming and diving team split its meets on Saturday at the Lawrence Double Dual at Boldt Natatorium.
The Vikings downed Lake Forest College 141-94, and UW-Whitewater edged the Vikings 125-111.
Lawrence grabbed five first-place finishes on the women's side.
Emmi Zheng led a 1-2 sweep in the 100-yard breaststroke for the Vikings. Zheng grabbed first in 1:11.82, and Caitlyn Lansing was second in 1:12.86.
Maddy Smith won the 1-meter diving and finished second on the 3-meter board. Smith posted a winning score of 199.35 in the 1-meter competition and had a score of 199.00 in 3-meter.
Mizuki Ohama swam to first in the 100 butterfly in 59.84 seconds and took second in the 200 individual medley in 2:22.29. Mae Grahs grabbed first in the 500 freestyle as she won by nearly two seconds with a time of 5:39.54, and Elise Riggle was second in the 1,000 freestyle in 11:37.84.
Lizzy Garcia grabbed a second-place finish in the 100 freestyle in 57.08.
Lawrence's 200 medley relay squad of Zheng, Ohama, Garcia and Erin Lengel won with a time of 1:55.70, and the 200 freestyle relay team of Lengel, Garcia, Mandy Marsh and Bridget Duero was second in 1:44.41.
Anton Hutchinson led the way for the Lawrence men by winning one event and taking second in another.
Hutchinson won the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:12.79 to win by nearly five seconds. Hutchinson took second in the 500 freestyle in 4:54.87.
Tom Goldberg swam to second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.42 seconds and was third in the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.10.
The Lawrence men fell 134-59 to UW-Whitewater, and Lake Forest topped the Vikings 154-64.
