Vikings post dominating shutout of Knox

APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team dominated Knox College 9-0 in a Midwest Conference match on Saturday on the Lawrence Courts.

Lawrence (7-8, 1-2 MWC) got the day started by sweeping the three doubles matches and dropping just two games in the process. Aidan Delgado and Cade Francour led the way with an 8-0 victory for the Vikings at No. 3.

The Vikings lost just nine games total in the six singles matches.

Both Delgado at No. 4 singles and David Brooker at No. 6 rolled to 6-0, 6-0 victories. Francour was almost perfect as well as he won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5.

Knox fell to 1-11 on the season, 1-2 in the league.
