Lawrence shoots down Bluejays

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team swept the doubles and rolled to an 8-1 nonconference victory over Elmhurst College.

Lawrence (5-5) took advantage of short-handed Elmhurst by winning all three doubles matches. Cade Francour and Aidan Delgado were 8-6 winners at No. 1, and Connor Maloney and Evan Oriel posted an 8-4 win at No. 2.

The Vikings then picked up five singles wins as Delgado (No. 1), Francour (No. 2), Matt Chan (No. 4), Andrea Arivella (No. 5) and Yang Zhao (No. 6) were all winners.

Lawrence wraps up its spring break trip with a match against Calvin College on Tuesday.
