Lawrence dropped an 8-1 decision to Carthage.

RACINE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 nonconference decision Saturday to a very good Carthage College team at the Life Sport Athletic Club.

Lawrence's lone victory was a gritty comeback win by rookie Cam Strawn at No. 6 singles. Strawn picked up his first collegiate victory with a 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 win over Kevin Dunn. Strawn won the super tiebreaker 10-8 to take the match.
