Connor Maloney didn't drop a game in his No. 1 singles win against Lakeland.

KOHLER, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team rolled to an 8-1 nonconference victory over Lakeland University on Saturday at Sports Core.

Lawrence swept the doubles matches to start the day and won five of the six singles matches.

Lawrence's No. 1 doubles team of Connor Maloney and Cade Francour posted an 8-1 win, and Cam Strawn teamed with Steven Zemaitis to pick up his first collegiate doubles victory with an 8-2 win at No. 3. Evan Oriel and Andrea Arivella collected an 8-5 win at No. 2.

Maloney at No. 1 and Oriel at No. 3 both posted 6-0, 6-0 victories in singles. Zemaitis earned his first collegiate singles victory with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6. Strawn also dropped just one game for a win at No. 5 and Francour was a 6-0, 6-2 winner at No. 2.
