Vikings shut out Dubuque

DE PERE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's tennis team didn't come close to dropping a set Saturday as the Vikings rolled to a 9-0 nonconference victory over the University of Dubuque at the Green Bay Tennis Center.

The Vikings, who improved to 4-2, dropped just seven games total as they swept the three doubles matches. Connor Maloney and Cade Francour were impressive in their 8-1 victory at No. 1.

Lawrence won all six singles matches without dropping a set. Rookie Cam Strawn at No. 6 was a 6-0, 6-0 winner to lead the charge. Maloney (No. 1), Aidan Delgado (No. 2), Francour (No. 3), Evan Oriel (No. 4) and Matt Chan (No. 5) were all winners as well.
