APPLETON, Wis. -- Lawrence University men's tennis standout Cade Francour had a perfect week and was chosen as Midwest Conference Player of the Week.
Francour (Oshkosh, Wis./North), a junior, went 4-0 on the week to help Lawrence clinch its fourth consecutive berth in the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament.
Lawrence opened the week with a 7-2 victory over St. Norbert College. In that match, Francour won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3 singles and teamed with Connor Maloney for an 8-6 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Francour moved up to No. 2 singles against Ripon College and grabbed a dominating 6-0, 6-0 victory.
