Lawrence basketball camps set for June, August

APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's basketball program is set to host a series of girls' basketball camps this summer at Alexander Gymnasium.

The camps are for players from elementary school through high school.

The Little Dribblers Camp is for players in grades 1 and 2, and the cost is $35. The camp is designed to introduce the game and practice fundamentals. It is offered June 12 to 14 and again on Aug. 5 to 7.

The Girls' Basketball Camp is for players in grades 3 to 5 and costs $100. The camp is from June 12 to 14, and it is offered again from Aug. 5 to 7. A Girls' Basketball Camp for players in grades 6 to 9 also will be offered twice this summer. The first camp is June 12 to 14 and a second camp is offered on Aug. 5 to 7. The cost of the camp is $100.

The Girls' Shooting Academy is for players in grades 5 to 12 and teaches proper shooting form, footwork, shot selection and drills to help master the art of shooting and scoring. The camp is June 20 and 21 and the cost is $75.

The Girls' Position Camp is for players in grades 5 to 12 and focuses on developing specific guard and post players skills. The camp is June 20 and 21 and the cost is $75.
