APPLETON, Wis. -- The Augustana (Ill.) College women's soccer scored four times in each half Friday to post an 8-0 win over Lawrence University on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
Augustana (5-1-0) got goals from six different players and piled up 28 shots on goal. Lawrence goalkeeper Claire Vinopal stopped 14 shots in the first half, and Katlyn Seiffert made six saves in the second half.
Augustana scored in the second minute to get things started and picked up two goals in the final 12 minutes of the half to lead 4-0 at the break. Augustana then scored just 1:20 into the second half and completed the scoring in the 74th minute.
