Lawrence dropped a 3-0 Midwest Conference decision to Cornell.

APPLETON, Wis. -- The Cornell College women's soccer team scored three times in a nine-minute stretch Saturday and posted a 3-0 Midwest Conference win over Lawrence University on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.

Cornell scored twice in the final 6:04 of the first half and then added another goal just 3:25 into the second half.

Sofia Schnur scored at the 38:56 mark to get Cornell on the board, and Lindsay Smith made it 2-0 with a goal at the 40:47 mark. Georgia James completed the scoring at the 48:25 mark.

Nicole Trenholm made five saves for Cornell before being replaced with 25 minutes remaining. Claire Vinopal made eight saves for the Vikings in the first half, and Katlyn Seiffert stopped seven shots in the second half.
