Lawrence dropped a 4-0 Midwest Conference decision to Knox.

APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team allowed two goals in a spn of just 1:06 in the first half Saturday and fell 4-0 to Knox College in a Midwest Conference match on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.

The match was scoreless until Knox got goals from Emma McCormick at 35:22 and Rosie Medina at 36:28 to take the lead. Lawrence battled a stiff north wind on its attacking end in the second half but couldn't pull any closer.

Claire Vinopal made eight saves for the Vikings in the first half, and Katlyn Seiffert stopped 10 shots in the second half. Sierra Daniger made three saves to record the shutout for Knox.
