Lawrence women's swimmers earn Scholar All-America honor

APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's swim team earned Scholar All-America recognition from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.

The Lawrence women posted a 3.37 grade point average to earn its place on the list. The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

This marks the fourth consecutive year the Lawrence women have earned the honor, and the Vikings were one of six Midwest Conference schools to make the list.

The Lawrence women capped an outstanding season by finishing third at the Midwest Conference Championships. Lawrence also won three Midwest Conference Swimmer of the Week awards during the campaign.
