Ohama swam to first in the 100-yard butterfly in 59.84 seconds and took second in the 200 individual medley in 2:22.29. Ohama teamed with Emmi Zheng, Lizzy Garcia and Erin Lengel to win the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:55.70.

Sparked by Ohama, Lawrence defeated Lake Forest 141-94, and UW-Whitewater edged the Vikings 125-111.

This is the first MWC Swimmer of the Week honor for Ohama, who is a Waseda University student studying at Lawrence for the 2018-19 academic year. This is the fifth Swimmer of the Week honor for the Lawrence women this season.

Lawrence returns to action on Saturday when the Vikings compete at the Wisconsin Private College Championships at Carthage College.
