APPLETON, Wis. -- The Knox College women's tennis team edged Lawrence University 5-4 in a Midwest Conference match at the Lawrence Courts on Saturday.

Knox (2-4, 2-0 MWC) took a 2-1 lead after the doubles with Lindsay Holsen and Katie Nottberg winning 8-5 for Lawrence (2-5, 2-2) at No. 1.

The Vikings battled back and split the six singles matches. Holsen at No. 1 and Annie Harincar at No. 2 both won their matches with a super-tiebreaker. Tillie Teske won in straight sets for the Vikings at No. 6.
