Margot Connor was a winner at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Vikings.

STEVENS POINT, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's tennis team romped to a 9-0 nonconference victory over Alverno College on Sunday at the SentryWorld Fieldhouse.

The Vikings lost just eight games total in the nine matches and recorded five victories without dropping a game.

Lawrence rolled through the doubles matches as Margot Connor and Emma Koppa at No. 1 and Lauren Aturaliya and Morgan Fisher at No. 2 were both 8-1 winners. Amelia Watson and Jacki Healy cruised to an 8-0 win at No. 3.

Aturaliya at No. 2, Koppa at No. 3, Watson at No. 5 and Healy at No. 6 were all 6-0, 6-0 winners in singles. Connor at No. 1 and Fisher at No. 4 also rolled to easy straight-sets wins.

Lawrence improved to 6-4 while Alverno fell to 0-6.
