Lauren Aturaliya was a winner at No. 2 singles and No. 3 doubles against Beloit.

BELOIT, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's tennis team knocked off Beloit College 7-2 in a Midwest Conference match on Sunday morning.

Lawrence started the day by sweeping the three doubles matches and then took four of the six singles contests.

Margot Connor and Emma Koppa were 8-2 winners at No. 1 doubles, and Morgan Fisher and Jacki Healy at No. 2 and Lauren Aturaliya and Amelia Watson at No. 3 were both 8-3 winners.

Connor led the way in singles as she topped Kiri Youngquist 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2, and Aturaliya was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at No. 2. Koppa picked up a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 3, and Healy posted a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 6.

Lawrence improved to 8-4 overall and 6-1 in the conference. Beloit fell to 3-7, 2-7 in the league.
