Vikings fall to St. Norbert

Emma Koppa was a winner at No. 1 doubles and No. 3 singles against St. Norbert.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 Midwest Conference decision to St. Norbert College on Saturday at the Green Bay Tennis Center.

Lawrence finished the conference season with a 6-3 record and qualified for the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament. 

The Vikings had to battle back after the three doubles matches. Lawrence took just one of the three as Margot Connor and Emma Koppa posted an 8-5 victory at No. 1.

Lawrence won two of the six singles matches and it was Connor and Koppa again coming out on top. Connor posted a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 1, and Koppa was a 6-2, 6-0 winner at No. 3.

Lawrence finished the fall season with an 8-6 mark.
