Luther stops Lawrence in straight sets

Luther posted a 3-0 victory over Lawrence at the ACM Tournament.

APPLETON, Wis. -- The Luther College volleyball team posted a 3-0 victory over Lawrence University at the Associated Colleges of the Midwest Tournament.

The Norse topped Lawrence 25-17, 25-22, 25-13 at Alexander Gymnasium.

Karissa Kime and Emma Veum picked up 10 kills apiece for Luther, which hit .228 for the match. Sam Sixta had 20 assists and three aces for the Norse.

Jordan Adamson led Lawrence with seven kills, and Ashley Camling collected 12 assists. Katie Kumbalek paced the Vikings with 12 digs, and Arianna Neumeyer added 10.
