Emma Carlson led Lawrence to a pair of victories to start league play and was named Midwest Conference Player of the Week. The senior forward from Northfield, Minn., averaged a double-double of 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting a remarkable 86.7 percent (13-for-15) from the floor. She scored 14 points and had a career-high 14 rebounds in a 79-63 victory at Beloit and followed that with a career-high 17 points and seven rebounds in a 54-44 victory over Grinnell.
