Lawrence University

The Vikings Athletics Advocacy Council (VAAC) is an advocacy group of alumni and parent members who advocate for Vikings student-athletes, coaches, staff, and the Vikings Athletics community as a whole. VAAC members work in council with the Lawrence University Director of Athletics (Kim Tatro) and the Associate Director of Athletics Giving (Andrew Borresen '15).
 
By sharing their time in an advocacy fashion with the Director of Athletics and the Associate Director of Athletics Giving, VAAC members raise their hand for annual peer-to-peer fundraising via the springtime Crowdfund for LU Athletics. VAAC members also serve as open and available mentors and connectors for current student-athletes who are navigating their college years at Lawrence and preparing for a meaningful life after Lawrence.
