Taylor Freeman put on a record-setting performance in Lawrence's 17-14 victory at Carthage. The sophomore infielder from Missouri City, Texas, went 7-for-7 with two homers, two doubles, six runs batted in and four runs scored against Carthage. He broke the Midwest Conference record (6) and the Lawrence record (5) for hits in a game and was named MWC Player of the Week.
