Ian Thomas won a pair of events to lead the Vikings at the Red Hawk Spring Showdown. The junior from Kirtland, N.M., took the top spot in the javelin with a throw of 155 feet, 10 inches. He also grabbed first place in the shotput with a heave of 42-8. Thomas led Lawrence to third place in the team standings.
