Irina Starostin won three events in a dual meet with UW-Oshkosh and was chosen as Midwest Conference Swimmer of the Week. The junior from Dallas, Texas, took the top spot in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.17 seconds and swam to victory in the 100 butterfly in 1:02.29. Starostin also swam on the winning 200 medley relay team, which took first in 2:01.97.
