Jayna Davis placed eighth in saber at the NCAA Midwest Regional to lead the Lawrence women's contingent. The first-year from Reno, Nev., had the top finish by a Lawrence woman at the NCAA regional since Maria Boulandier Leza took ninth in epee in 2018. Davis went 3-2 in the opening round of pool play and advanced to the final round where she posted a 4-7 mark.
