Cristyn Oliver set a Lawrence record and was chosen as Midwest Conference Performer of the Week. The senior from Redondo Beach, Calif., ran the fastest 6,000 meters in Lawrence history to win the Gene Davis Invitational and lead the Vikings to the team title. She covered the 6,000 meters at Reid Golf Course in 21:52.6 to break the school record of 22:01 set by Lawrence Hall of Famer Val Curtis in 2002.
