Nathan Valentine led Lawrence to a split at the Oberlin Tip-Off Tournament and was named Midwest Conference Player of the Week. The junior guard from Geneva, Ill., poured in 25 points in a 79-74 victory over Clarkson. For the weekend, Valentine averaged 19 points and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 48.1 percent from the floor, including 53.8 percent from beyond the arc.
