Mila Westra broke a Lawrence record on her way to winning the 800 meters at the Dick Hendrick Invitational. The first-year runner from Beaver Dam, Wis., raced to a dominating victory in 2:17.67, which broke the school record of 2:18.01 set by Shelley Ebert back in 2002. Westra was a runaway winner in the event as she topped the record-place runner from Carroll University by five seconds.
