Irene Yank claimed a pair of second-place finishes to lead the Vikings at the Midwest Conference Championships at Monmouth. The senior from Franklin, Wis., earned the first of her two all-conference honors by taking a close second in the triple jump as she leaped to a distance of 33 feet, 4 inches. Yank also raced to second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.87 seconds.
