Edan Perez hit .588 and was named the Midwest Conference Player of the Week. The senior outfielder from Manteno, Ill., led Lawrence to four straight wins as the Vikings claimed the conference title. Perez went 10-for-17 with a grand slam, two doubles, seven runs batted in and four runs scored. He also broke Lawrence's career hits record in the process.
