Cristyn Oliver won the 5,000 meters at the Midwest Conference North Championships and was named the league's Newcomer of the Year. The rookie from Redondo Beach, Calif., won the event in 18:28.65. She also took third in the 10,000 and ran on Lawrence's third-place 4x400 relay team to earn two more all-conference honors.
