Collin Beyer won his first collegiate title in just his second race as he raced to first at the Ken Weidt Classic. The rookie from Portland, Ore., won the 8,000-meter race in 26:37.5 to lead the Vikings to second in the team standings. Beyer was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week for the second consecutive week.
