Ian Thomas won the javelin at the St. Norbert Twilight on April 14 and posted the longest throw in the Midwest Conference this season. The sophomore from Kirtland, N.M., was first with a throw of 165 feet, 3 inches, the longest throw in the league. Thomas also took fourth in the shotput at 37-9.5 and eighth in the discus at 98-8.
