Strength and Conditioning Center
The Lawrence University Strength & Conditioning Center serves as the primary weight room and performance training facility for Viking student-athletes. Located within Alexander Gymnasium, the facility provides a dedicated space for year-round training, helping student-athletes build strength, improve athletic performance, and prepare for competition.
Designed to accommodate both team and individual workouts, the Strength & Conditioning Center features custom Viking-branded power racks, a dedicated turf training lane, free weights, resistance equipment, and functional training space. The open-concept layout allows every Lawrence athletic program to train efficiently while supporting the University's commitment to student-athlete development.
Originally home to Alexander Gymnasium's indoor swimming pool, the space has been transformed into a modern strength and conditioning facility that continues to evolve alongside the needs of Lawrence Athletics.
