APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team dropped a 13-1 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association decision to Aurora University on Friday at the Appleton Ice Center.
  The Spartans took a 4-0 lead after one period and stretched the margin to 10-1 after two periods before adding three more goals in the third.
  Lawrence notched a goal in the second period when
Lauren Askenazy picked up her first goal of the season at the 16:36 mark.
Aislinn O'Hagan earned her first career point with an assist on the goal, and
Lindsey Gulliksen picked up an assist as well.
  Darci Matson scored four times to pace Aurora (7-1-0, 5-0-0 NCHA).

Sydney Seeley made the start in goal for Lawrence (0-8-0, 0-3-0) and collected eight saves in the opening period.
Charlie Prior played the final two periods for the Vikings and stopped 34 shots. Chiara Pfosi made 13 saves through two periods and picked up the win for Aurora. Shelbi Duster came on in relief and stopped four shots in the final period.
  The teams wrap up the series on Saturday afternoon.
