GENEVA, Ill. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team fell behind early Friday and dropped an 8-1 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game to Aurora University at Fox Valley Ice Arena.
  The Spartans led 2-0 after the opening period but pulled away with four goals in the second.Â
  Lawrence got its lone tally on
Elsie Salerno's first goal of her career midway through the second period.
Emma Perry picked up the assist on Salerno's goal.
  Rookie goaltender
Sarah Dobrzynski stopped 54 shots for the Vikings. Two Aurora goaltenders combined to make 11 saves.
  Lawrence limited Aurora to 0-for-6 on the power play, and the Vikings went 0-for-5.
  The teams wrap up the two-game series on Saturday afternoon.
